Denver Student Teacher Residency (STR) is looking for hardworking, reflective individuals who are ready to make an immediate impact in the classrooms of the Denver Public Schools. Successful candidates have completed the necessary coursework to be ready to do their student teaching. The Residency experience is a full year.

Residents will be trained in one of the following areas:

  • Elementary Education (K-5 in English or Spanish)
  • Special Education (K-12 MSU and CU Undergrad only)
  • Secondary Education (6-12 Mathematics and Science)
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE – MSU only)
  • Secondary Education English Lang Arts and Social Studies (Bilingual Spanish)
